Our first event of the year is only four days away! It’s hard to believe we know, but before you start bouncing off the walls with excitement, we wanted to introduce you to the three musketeers who’ll be judging your tasty creations this Friday.

It goes without saying that all three harbour a deep, primal love for all things baked and when it comes to eating cake for hours in the name of science (bake offs are a scientific pursuit, right?) I think we can all agree that’s the only qualification you need.

So, without further ado, here are your judges for Gamerbake: Let’s Get Retro – which, if you haven’t already heard, is being sponsored by the good folks over at DingIt! Oh, and by the way, we were only kidding about the bribes. Psssst… meet us around the back. Bring the cake.

Claire Sharkey (@DingItTV/@ScaryGranules)

Claire runs Brand and Community for Level Up Media, which owns Dingit.tv and handles the events and sponsorship for the brands. She is also the founder of ScaryGranules and before working in the games industry was an engineer. She has recently been nominated for Best Esport Contender at the Women in Games awards.

She has entered Gamerbake herself a few times, mainly hoping that adding potent jelly shots would win the hearts and livers of other attendees. She’s a great believer that cake and tea heals many wounds or the sugar coma, at least serves a good distraction and doesn’t trust people who have intense hatred for either.

Lotte (@cubed2D

Lotte is a Unity developer with 7 years experience working on indie games, including fan favorite titles like The Swindle and Plague Inc. She is a Director of Generic Evil Business Ltd. and one half of the queer indie game collective Ikonoclast.love. In her downtime she enjoys baking cakes, eating doughnuts and making Chocolates.

Zoe Delahunty- Light (@zoe_dels)

Zoe is an Editorial Graduate for GamesRadar+, working across the video and editorial departments mainly in loving servitude to openworld RPGs, walking simulators, and FPSs. Writing for Official Playstation Magazine, GamesMaster, and Official Xbox Magazine, her prime passions are swords and decapitation gifs. Other than that she’s completely sane. Promise.
